This week on the podcast I’m joined by the managing editor of Hockey-Graphs.com and the CTO of Hockey Data Inc.; Garret Hohl.

Garret is a big proponent of hockey analytics, as am I, although he works more with public data whereas I work with Sportlogiq, a private company that uses proprietary data.

We tackle the public understanding of statistics, how great Patrik Laine can be, the pros and cons of binning, and the need for some to throw out analytics whenever they don’t perfectly mesh with results.
